Ben Bernanke gave a speech today. Said the usual macro-economic things Fed chairmen usually say. Then he took some questions.One of which was, so how's the economy doing? The transcript of his answer runs five paragraphs. Here's the meat of it.
Ben Bernanke: "Even though from a technical perspective the recession is very likely over at this point, it's still going to feel like a very weak economy for some time."
So to recap... Recession already over. Unemployment probably going over 10 percent by next year.
